Saint Mary Mackillop

We are learning about saints I chose to write about Saint Mary Mackillop.
I enjoyed searching up all the information and writing it all in my own words.
I found it difficult to get it finished on time.

Saint Mary Mackillop was born Mary Helen Mackillop in Fitzroy Australia 1842 on the 15 of January. Her parents names were Flora Macdonald and Alexander Mackillop. She had 7 siblings named Donald, Alick, Alexandrina, John, Annie, Peter and Margaret. Saint Mary Mackillop was an Australian nun. She died on 8 August 1909. She became a saint for starting schools in Australia and New Zealand. She was also the first Australian to be recognised as a saint by the catholic church.
